Tinkerbell

Oh boy, I have to write about the Tinkerbell craziness. Well my travel agent and a book I read said that if you are the first one in this certain store in Fantasy land that you can wake up Tinkerbell and something really neat happens. So this became my mission..for AnnaBrooke ofcourse! We got up earlier and actually got to the park about 45 minutes early! This is really amazing if you know our familie's history of getting to places on time never mind EARLY! So it can be done. So Brinley and I waited with AnnaB in the stroller at the gates along with about 20 other people. Bucky took the boys walking around to keep them occupied. I was so anxious to get in and start running toward my destination! I became a little obsessed about it I must say. I really don't think AnnaB was that interested whether we got there first or not but I sure was! I was scoping out the competition and Brinley was not helping matters since she would say, "I heard that little girl talking about Tinkerbell, she may know about it too". Well the time came for the gates to open....On your mark, get set , go! We were off! Well I saw that our original route to this store was blocked off. Instead of going through the Castle we would have to go through Liberty Square to get to Fantansy Land and then to wake Tinkerbell! Then some Disney workers I mean cast members held everyone off a little while longer at the entrance to Libery Square. Then they let us go and off we went. I was running pushing the umbrella stroller with Brinley trying to keep up..poor thing! Bucky and the boys were going to meet us there after renting the double stroller. I kinda lost my bearings when I came around the Its a small world ride and asked a worker during midflight where the store was. I then came to it and stopped in the store a little short of breath, ok a lot short of breath! (I need to do p90x again!) I see two ladies that work there and ask if this is indeed the place to wake Tinkerbell. To my GREAT dismay....they said they stopped doing that...even changed the name of the store! They said we could meet tinkerbell an hour from now in Toon town. I could not believe all the trouble we went to for this....all for not. I really felt quite silly actually...I had been so competitive over this! Thinking there were others out there that were trying to get there too...and there wasn't. Oh, well makes for a good story right? Well we make it over to see Tinkerbell about 10:20 and there is an hour wait time! I decided to wait since she is the only character AnnaB really knows and really loves. So I waited with her and Aaron. They were not joking it really was an hour wait. Aaron fell asleep with me holding him and AnnB was tired so she just layed on the floor. I had to coax her to move up with me each time the line moved. We finally got to the place where we could meet Tinkerbell. i had to juggle the video camera and the regular camera along with Aaron and AnnaB. AnnaB met Tinkerbell's friend first and talked to her a minute. Then for no reason she suddenly became shy and would not talk to her and then would not talk or even stand by Tinkerbell. The only way I could get her to take a pic was having her stand next to me on the opposite side of Tinkerbell (and yes after standing in line for 1 hour we were going to get a picture...no matter what!). So after this wonderful meeting with AnnaB most looked up to character...she now decides she doesn't like TInkerbell anymore, she likes Dora! She still feels that way. i think it threw her off that Tinkerbell was big :)
