Mom's Day Tea

Bronson's kindergarten class at school puts on an annual Mom's day tea. I had never been to one, soI didn't know what to expect. I thought we'd probably drink tea and eat a little something. It was soooo sweet and special! The moms all waited in the hallway outside the classroom. The classroom was dark and soft, sweet music was playing. Mrs. Williams (the teacher) called out "Mrs. Farque" and Bronson showed up at the door to escort me to my chair (which was his little chair). He gave me a flower he had made to pin on my shirt. It was just too sweet! Then each child got in front of the class by themselves and read something they wrote about what they do with their moms and then they each said a little saying about how much they loved us. Bronson said he liked when we played bingo (for the life of me I can not remember playing bingo with him!). He also said "I love you like a basketball likes to bounce"...perfect for him to say since he loves to play basketball! After everyone had their turn, the kids got together and sang several songs for us. Then we watched a slideshow that Diana (Julia's mom) put together of pictures taken throughout the year. It was awesome, and we each got a copy of the pics put to music! I just loved that morning, i think especially because Bronson is usually not the affectionate type or doesn't easily show his emotions, but I could just tell he loved the morning just as much as me! I love my sweet handsome little man!
