Ok. Have you ever had one of those days? I did yesterday. Nothing huge happened, just an accumalation of things and it seemed I could not respond the right way! The day started out with us trying to get ready to go to church for bible study...or in this case helping at the Rice Depot. Bucky was not able to bring Brinley to school, so that always makes this day hard. I load up all the kids bring Brinley to school, then unload...finished the breakfast, dressing process, and feeding Aaron, oh and hope I can get something decent on to wear and not forget to put deodorant on. Well, AnnaBrooke was unhappy about beind placed in the playpen so that I could get ready, Bronson was not happy about having to wait to get his shoes on...but he handled it pretty well, and Aaron pooped out of his diaper and spit up on me (luckily I held him in just the right positions so I didn't have to change my shirt).
We made it there, I think I actually remembered all the lunches and diapers, bottles, and pacifiers that were needed! Later that day when Brinley came home, all was well....until we actually tried to leave to go to gymnastics and soccer practice. Brinley could not find anything she needed and was not too interested in helping as she read a book. I couldn't believe we were going to be late again when I felt I had prepared well in advance with making sandwiches and snacks. Well , unfortunately I blew it ....after seeing Brinley's mad face and attitude as I scurried around trying to find all her shinguards an shoes. I pitched a fit...I really did. Well....I immediately got on my knees and asked for forgiveness and prayed for help. I also had to suck up my pride and appologize to the kids and tell them mommy messes up too ( I feel like I am always saying that). Just to let you know, right now Bronson and AnnaBrooke are in the refrigerator and Aaron is crying. So I can't write much more.
The rest of the day went pretty smoothly...thank you Lord for grace and mercy!
