The black skirt

I am finding it hard to find the time to blog and I really want to keep it up...its therapeutic if nothing else! well, we have been in Houston now for over 2 months. Bucky does not like his new territory and feels he made a bad decision moving us all here. I don't know if it was the right decision or not but we are here now so I know we need to make the most of it. One thing I find is it will be hard to find a christian couple we can feel close too. But you know, I have come to the realization that I don't have to havelong lasting awesome friends where I live, yes it would be nice but it's really a luxury. I have my family and pouring into their lives will suffice. God has also blessed me with wonderful friends who live in other places that I can easily text or call. Don't get me wrong, our neighbors are great, very friendly and I hope to continue to get to know them better and be a influence in theit life....but I don't think many of them know the Lord personally. Maybe God has us here to bring them to Him. We found a church we really like called The Met. It is very contemporary and very mission oriented which is so awesome because I believe that is what the church should be all about.
Ok, now you are probably wondering why I titled this what I did...we were walking out of the church service and in front of me was this very attractive (from the back anyway) lady in her late 40's or 50's and she was wearing a tight blacky skirt that had a zipper from the bottom of the skirt all the way to the top of the skirt! I know I have a problem with making quick judgements of people(we just heard a sermon about Judging others a couple of weeks ago)... but seeing things like that do not help! What is she thinking??? Am I too sensitive?
Ok now that that is off my chest....lets talk about Halloween...it was fun! Althought almost all of the costumes for women are provocative, I was glad that the women on our street who did dress up wore nice outfits. This was Bucky and I's first time to dress up ! It was so much fun and ofcourse the kids loved it! Bucky was Luigi and I was Princess Peach. Bronson was Mario, Brinley was the princess of Persia (wore the wig reluctantly) and AnnaBrooke was Dora (she would not wear the wig), and Aaron was her sidekick ...Boots.We went around the neighborhood trick or treating. This neighborhood was a great one to get lots of good candy...which ofcourse we still have around the house. Till next time....
