I have regretablly (spelling?) not written in a long time! This last semester of school is just flying by!!! Alot has happened that I need to go back and blog with pics like......valentines day, snow days!!!, daffodill extravaganza,,,etc. but I just need to write down what happened the other day, Friday in fact. I am not going to be able to give the day justice in my writing because frankly I am just not good at expressing myself. Ok. Here it goes....it started out that I took the two little ones to Krogers to get some much needed grocery items...like Milos sweet tea....I thought ..ok this will be easy because Krogers has that car cart the kids can ride in. Well that fun lasted about 15 minutes and AnnaBrooke wanted to get out. I managed to keep her in a little while longer....really the experience is almost a blur so I may not be exactly accurate in the details and timeline but hey you won't know the difference, right? So then, Aaron starts crying and then this other toddler across the store starts SCREAMING and I thought "When are they going to leave?" Then at some point I put both of them in the front of the buggy which I think workied for a while. Oh and then AnnaB had to go to the potty (ofcourse...she has to go every hour especially somewhere new) So, I stood at the entrance of the bathroom and let her go in by herself...trying not to think about all the germs she was picking up...but I couldn't fit the buggy in the bathroom and did not feel up to getting Aaron down and keeping him from touching everything while trying to help AnnaB. So AnnaB successfully pottied (spell?) and then the torture really began. I don't remember why but AnnaB and Aaron both were sitting in the buggy crying and screaming as we continued to shop and stroll by many on lookers, whom i'm sure were wondering what I was earlier "when are they going to leave?"
I jsut could not leave right then..I still had a few items on my list I just had to scratch off! Well we made it to the car at some point and I realized I didn't have much room to put all these groceries because I was about to pick up Bronson and two friends children (my day to carpool). So I threw everything in the floor in the back seat and the passenger seat. I sped off to get the kids, realizing I was going to be late getting them...I was..they were the last lone kids waiting patiently for their ride. Aaron ended up falling asleep in the car before we got to the grocery store...so he did not want to take his usual nap after lunch. Bronson who usually doesn't take a nap fell asleep, AnnaB slept..yet Aaron was wide awake, which means no nap for mommy! Mommy loves her naps! Ok, now its time to pick up Brinley so I throw (not literally...well plop is more like it) the sleeping children in the car...except aaron who is awake remember. I go back and forth into the house and back to the car getting the possibly needed items for the rest of the day...drinks for the little ones, diapers, wipes, change of clothes for Brinley, tooth brush for Brinley, Brinley's friends birthday present, Aaron's shoes, AnnaB's shoes and socks (she can't go without socks for goodness sake!). I had to pack the car like this because after getting Brinley from school we were going straight to an orthodontist appointment and then straight to drop Brinley off at a birthday party. So after finding the Ortho...took a while..new place...we stop, ready to get out and Brinley says "Where are Bronson's shoes?" At this point I realize in my many trips back and forth to get items to put in the car I forgot his shoes. And to his defense he was sleeping so he couldn't get them. So our solution was to put him in the umbrella stroller and bring him around that way. So that meant Aaron was not in the stroller! So we wait in the waiting area...Bronson in the umbrella stoller with his feet tucked behind him, Brinley helping AnnaB in the bathroom...its a new place remember?....and me trying to fill out new patient paper work while holding Aaron who is fidgety and trying to grab my pen (i'm wishing at this point I would have remembered i could have filled this stuff out on line) I'm also questioning whether we should come here, because when I walked in the place it smelled like a nursing home. OK...so we finally get back to talk with the orthodontist and Bronson says he has to go to the potty...but ofcourse he doesn't want to walk because...no shoes. So I say excure me and wheel him in a bathroom, then he later calls my name to wheel him out again....comical really! WE then pile back in the car and head to the birthday party....drop Brinley off there and Bucky calls us to meet him for dinner (he was on call all weekend so this may have been the only time we'd see him that night). It ended up that way..poor thing he worked until 10:30pm, came home for an hour then went to work again around 12:30, then came home around 4:00. Ok back to the story...so we get to the restaurant and I change Aaron's poopy diaper and ofcourse AnnaB has to potty again. So we alll pile in the bathroom...Bronson in the stroller again...still no shoes....I'm holding Aaron...and trying to help AnnaB not touch the toilet while she does her business. We all wash hands and head to our table. Did I mention it was like a sauna in the bathroom? We are sitting at the table and Aaron is not cooperative...throwing things..and I call Bucky...WHERE are you?! He was right around the corner thankfully! The meal was a far cry from relaxing but at least we were together! When we were leaving...strolling Bronson without shoes outside...Bucky said.."It looks like He doesn't have any LEGS!" And he was right...the way Bronson was sitting..on his legs in the stoller...it looked like he didn't have legs from the knees down. Very freaky looking! People looked at him with sympathy....I hate that they felt bad for him for nothing...but its not like he was sitting outside the place holding a tin can. Well, the rest of the evening I spent getting them ready for bed and putting Aaron in bed. The others got to stay up late since it was Friday. I so wanted to go to bed...but had promised it would be a fun filled night and we'd play a game of Sorry (this was mainly to console Brinley since I picked her up early from the party and she did not get to go bowling). So somehow ....grouchily (is that a word?). I knew I was tired when I started moving my pawn backwards instead of forward on the Sorry Board..Well.... I made it to 11:30pm....and we all fell asleep.
